I love Los Angeles. It's so different from the cities in Europe, that sort of, shaped my city-typology.
Los Angeles is weird, vast, extraordanary, ugly in many ways, colourful and creative.
It does not have the warm atmosphere and cosyness of the beautiful Eurpopean cities like Rome, Barcelona, Paris, Prague, Amsterdam.
I don't know what makes Los Angeles attractive. But I love it.
This special focusses more or less on the southern areas of Los Angeles such as Watts, Inglewood and LAX airport.
Most impressive in my eyes are the Watts Towers, a sort of Gaudi-architecture in a not so wealthy area.
