I love Los Angeles. It's so different from the cities in Europe, that sort of, shaped my city-typology.
Los Angeles is weird, vast, extraordanary, ugly in many ways, colourful and creative.
It does not have the warm atmosphere and cosyness of the beautiful Eurpopean cities like Rome, Barcelona, Paris, Prague, Amsterdam.
I don't know what makes Los Angeles attractive. But I love it.
This special focusses more or less on the downtown area, except for the Disney Concerthall that you can find here.
Downtown has its rundown Broadway and even the brightness of Pershing Square cannot cover the many poor people living in the area.
In the north is the new LA Cathedral, also givin' birth to LA with new architecture.
