The southern part of Utah is packed with majestic nature, lots of it protected in National Parks.
Capitol Reef is one of the lesser known parks, but as breathtaking as the others, maybe even more.
The park is less developed, what probably is the reason for fewer stops.
Capitol Reef is a mixture of the Great Outdoors and a mormon settlement in now historic Fruita.
Completed with native American petroglyphs it is a place of beauty and variety.
