The Barri Gotic is the old heart of Barcelona, the Ciutat vella, Born and Ribera.
Here are Placa de Jaume, Placa Reial, the cathedral and Placa Santa Maria del Pi, that is famous for its artsmarket.
The area is surrounded by some of the most wellknown streets and squares such as the Ramblas and Placa de Catalunya.
This series show photos the Cathedral and the adjacent Placa de la Seu, including the folkdance Sardana that locals perform every weekend.
Then there are photos from Ribera, mainly being shots of small shops and narrow streets. From Born I've got some nighttime pictures.
