I guess the photos in this series may not be among the best I ever made. Nevertheless it was the first time I made a balloonflight and shot photos in the shortening daylight.
In a way I was lucky because it was the longest day of the year, and the weather was fine.
The flight started in Amersfoort and took some hours before landing in Odijk, 20 kilometers away. In between I passed the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, a large forested area.
