Marche is a relatively quiet region. It's just south of Rimini, a longtime tourist center.
Marche is a charming region, with the famous artcity of Urbino in the heart and the large castle of Gradara just off the Adriatic coast.
The Italian shores are a thing of it's own. There are even more umbrellas then there are people. The coast therefore is a very colourful happening of textile.
I've added some photos of San Marino in this Marche series, although San Marino is not in Marche. San Marino isn't even in Italy.
It is completely surrounded by Italy, yes, but it is a republic of it's own. The smallest one on earth I guess.
