Budapest is one of the major metropoles in central Europe when you look at its history.
By now it's charm is a mix of 19th Century architecture, the ideas of communism and the new attitude since the late 1980s.
I divided my photos in three series. The first focusses on the central areas in both cityparts Buda and Pest.
The second focusses on the banks of the Danube, just in the middle of Buda and Pest.
And the third one shows more parts of Pest, which actually is the real downtown area of Budapest.
